Hello and Welcome to How to be a Daddy!
This is a place for me to share my adventures of becoming a first time parent , and hopefully others can learn from my mistakes and successes. We had our first son, Brandon, three months ago and I have been amazed at how much our life has changed and how much it hasn't. There is infinite more joy in our house now that Brandon is born, but most of all I'm surprised at how much life hasn't changed. (Except for the diaper changes, there are a lot of those!). For the most part our life is the same, we cook dinner and watch TV, we talk about our day and dream of the future. In other ways, our lives are completely different: We sleep less, we get peed on, I know more than I ever wanted to about nipples, but really Brandon has been a great baby and we finally have an excuse to live in a messy house!
In this blog I will strive to be honest and to share stories that are either entertaining or help with some part of being a dad. We will go through all stages of having a baby (except conception, I'm sure you've got that down already). From dealing with a pregnant wife to birth to breast-feeding and then the fun part, actually having a baby.
I hope you enjoy reading our experience and maybe it'll help :)
